Custom Patches: how it's done

This particular patch is a custom drawn patch completed by the owner of Stearman 41-25714. This Stearman served at Avenger Field training the female "W.A.S.P." during WWII. Mike Porter has lovingly restored this airplane to 100% stock condition. In the spirit of WWII training command patches Mike designed this caricature of his Stearman and commissioned me to make a period hand painted patch in the style of WWII. This is what it takes to bring this design to life.
